10/1/10:  well our first night out in Pittsburgh for the first fridays gallery crawl.  I love this city.  So far great art, great people.  In my opinion I like the Garfield galleries more than those down town, the work seemed more stimulating.  I met/remet some great people - Daniel, Ben, Caroline and Jen.  Look forward to working with you all.  Lots of potential here.

9/03:  Heather and I are planning our next move to pittsburgh.  I just had two interviews yesterday in the city so we are keeping our fingers crossed.  I also have lots of new work waiting to be posted so keep your eyes pealed.

5/10:  Well, Heather and I are definitely planning on moving back to Pennsylvania this July.  Things are starting to move quickly now.  We are going on a road trip next week to visit many of the national parks out west.  Here is me looking forward to it!
There are some potentially big developments coming in the near future but before mentioning anything further, I will just let things unfold with my fingers crossed.  If you get time, check out some of my friend links.  I have put some new ones up.

4/22:  Thanks to everyone who attended my MFA Thesis Exhibition on Thursday.  The show looks great!!  I cannot believe it is almost over.  Three years seems closer to three months these days.  Pics to come in the events page.
The show is up at the University of Arizona Museum of Art through May 14th.  For those in town, please take the time to stop in.
BTW I now have a guestbook so please sign it I would love to hear your comments.

2/13:  I have spent the past week in Chicago for the annual CAA conference, which has been a jam packed few days thats for sure.  I have, however, seen some great art both in the Museums and in the local galleries. I have also had the chance to meet some pretty cool people.  And to top it off, I had the opportunity to interview.  Not bad.  Here are some links to check out featuring a couple of the artists I met here.

4/16: I cant believe I almost forgot, Heather and I are going to Paris this summer!!!!!  Leaving before I got to Bulgaria.  We are so excited, if anyone has suggestions of places to go email me and let me know.

4/15: Wow, so its been a while since i have posted what is happening in my life.  I have recently been accepted into an Artist Residency in Balchik Bulgaria on the coast of the Black Sea.  the residency entitled Process Space Festival, will be held during the month of June and I cannot wait to get working.  THis spring I have had some exciting things happening including going to LA and participating in a few exhibitions.  The most interesting show is taking place in Reading Pennsylvania at the Google Works Center for the Arts.  The show is entitled "Landscape and Industry" which is right up my alley.  Other than a few local gigs, I have mainly been writing grants to travel and working my but off.  I did spend some time in Toledo Ohio as getting some Great photographs of the General Motors Plant which will undoubtedly help my work.  i posted those photos in a new tab, so check them out!!!

8/11: Well I have been working my but off and finally everything is ready for my exhibition opening this Friday. The show is entitled "Facing Front" and is a collaboration with the University of Arizona Dance Dept. The exhibit confronts viewers with multiple layers of visual expression in an attempt to curb the "Facing Front" attitude of stage dance and traditional gallery hangings. Featuring live dance, painting, drawing, video manipulation and sculpture, this exhibit offers a surplus of visual stimuli, which reveal the many connections between various forms of artistic expression.
6/8:   Been a while but things are going well for me.  I am currently teaching Drawing one and two at Cochise College in Sierra Vista, so I have been a little busy.  Thanks again to everyone who made it to Barrios last friday, it was a great time as always.  I recently added some new paintings to the New Paintings page.  These are my favorite works done since arriving in AZ.  I am currently working on a run of paintings that utilize pin hole photography so I am very excited about working this summer. This weekend I am going up to Las Vegas to visit my freind and see Stone Temple Pilots on thier reunion tour.  I cant wait!!
I am also preparing for my exhibition at the Union Gallery in August.  This show will be a collaboration with Professor Doug Neilsen from the U of A Dance Department. I should be a great experience.  There will be three events and improvisational dances based on the work exhibited.  More info on that later in the summer.

4/10:  Thanks to all that could make it to the Fedmont show.  I am currently working on some pretty interesting video material that i will hopefully have posted on the site in the next month, so keep your eyes open.  Also i will be participating in an Exhibit in Albuquerque New Mexico at the Harwood Center for the arts this summer.  Ill have more info on that later as well.  Posted some new pics in the drawing section and prob. going to add some more on myspace so check it out.
Later
